Our History
ACEVO was established in 1987 by a group of charity chief executives who wanted to develop a networking and support group for the sector. We are now one of the major voices in the sector prompting both good practice and campaigning for change. Find out more about our 20th anniversary celebrations.
A key distinguishing feature is that as a membership organisation, our members play a significant role in leading and developing the Association's work and our strength lies in this collective membership.
